Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport Terminal Expansion
Our team is providing site investigation, surveying, existing condition assessment and basis of design services for the rehabilitation and expansion of Terminal A for Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, near San Juan, Puerto Rico’s capital.
The investigation, planning and detailed design work is divided into multiple phases to allow survey, site investigation, planning and stakeholder engagement activities to progress while the program scope of work is finalized.
The Terminal A Rehabilitation and Expansion Program (TREP) is expected to include:
- HVAC system upgrades and replacements.
- Interior finishes and restroom updates
- Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) checkpoint reconfiguration and expansion (including airline ticketing and check-in).
- Vertical transportation relocations and expansion.
- A two-gate expansion with holdroom, restrooms and concessions areas.
